2011 honda Odyssey

Vehicles like the Honda Odyssey were built with only one primary purpose, and that is to efficiently haul up
to eight people in reasonable comfort. Luggage space, entertainment systems and the like are just bonuses.

BMW 740Li M Sport (Malaysia): RM848,800

The BMW 7-Series is now available with the M-Sport package in Malaysia though numbers are very very limited. There are only two units in Malaysia for now – both are 740Li models with the 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged inline-6 mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The M-Sports package features a different bumper with more chrome at the front, glossy black window trim, and a bumper featuring a faux diffuser design at the rear.

The premium for the M-Sports package is about RM30,000, which probably pocket change for the CEO who wants his chauffeured ride to look a little meaner. The BMW 740Li M-Sport retails for RM848,800, up from the regular 740Li’s RM818,800 price tag.

Ferrari 458 Italia

SPECIFICATIONS

Transmission 7-speed dual-clutch automated manual Power 562 hp at 9,000 rpm
Torque 390 ft lbs at 6,000 rpm Curb weight 3,042 pounds Zero to 60 3.5 seconds
Top speed 202 mph Base price $230,000 Ferrari, www.ferrari.com

The 458 Italia is a shocking demonstration of just how much improvement can be
brought to an already superb design. Faster, quicker- and smoother-shifting, and with
lighter steering than its predecessor, the most powerful Ferrari V-8 ever does its magic
without forced induction and while revving to a heady 9,000 rpm with a scorching musical
note that makes paddle-shifting at redline an addiction. The interior is Ferrari’s best yet,
with sensible ergonomic touches that let the driver do what comes naturally: drive this
car as if it has been stolen. —Robert Ross

The 458 Italia comes with plenty of technology initially developed for Formula One, such as the F1-Trac
skid control system and the use of one ECU to control the E-Diff differential. Other notable technologies
include the “aeroelastic” winglets in the front grille designed to generate down-force at higher speeds,
and the “prefill” braking system, which complements the standard Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes.
